Lagos Life household wish: Wall Calendar and placement warnings

A ₦300 Wall Calendar completed one active household-item wish for two stars. Learn when Place charges the wallet and why an enabled button can still show a warning.

A welcoming illustrated neighborhood

A tested ₦300 purchase for the household-item wish

In a supplied 7 October 2026 test, one Wall Calendar purchase completed the active Buy something for the house wish and added two stars. The wallet decreased by ₦300 when Place was pressed. Goals was checked immediately afterward, before any object use.

The wish is about an item for the home, not buying a house. This result applies to one current wish, product and position; it does not establish the cheapest item, every qualifying product or a reward for every purchase. All amounts here are fictional game currency.

Step 1: check Goals and the Decor catalog

At home, read your current Goals. If Buy something for the house is active and you want to try a purchase, open Buy, then Decor, and inspect Wall Calendar. The tested catalog marked it as a wall item and quoted ₦300.

Selecting the calendar left the wallet unchanged. Its preview said Drag along a wall or use the arrows, with Place enabled and no occupancy or route warning observed. Check the actual wall position in your own home; the tested character's layout is not a universal placement plan.

The test did not move the calendar preview or rearrange existing furniture before purchase. Only that one position was checked. An enabled Place button alone does not establish that every position is clear of conflicts.

Step 2: separate the preview from payment

One press of Place deducted exactly ₦300, matching the current quote. Selecting the item had not charged it. No independent itemized purchase receipt was recorded, so the charge was checked using the before-and-after wallet difference.

Exit Buy and check Goals before using anything else. In this test, the household-item wish was replaced by Watch some TV and stars increased by two. The calendar was not interacted with, and no TV program, travel or other world action was added in that window.

This observation supports completion after purchasing the calendar without using it. It does not establish that every decor item qualifies, that each repeat purchase grants stars, or that an item already owned completes a newly assigned wish. Prior calendar ownership was unknown because a full furniture inventory was not checked.

Two placement messages mean different things

An earlier separate test inspected Ring Light & Phone Stand under Buy, then Skills. The catalog quoted ₦9,500 for a 1×1 item. It was selected and moved in preview, then cancelled; it was never purchased.

  • Something is already there appeared with Place disabled at an occupied preview position.
  • A warning that the item blocked the way to a standing fan appeared while Place remained enabled at other inspected positions.

Read both the message and the button state. An available Place button can coexist with a route warning. In the warning test, the preview was cancelled and Buy mode exited without pressing Place; the wallet and stars stayed unchanged and the household-item wish remained active.

That was an uncharged preview cancellation, not a paid failed purchase or a refund. Only a few positions were inspected, so it does not prove that every position in the home was invalid. Actual access to the fan after placement was not tested, and the warning does not establish a game or browser fault.

If the position still has a conflict you do not want to accept, use Cancel and inspect your home before committing to another purchase. The Ring Light's use menu, skill effects and eligibility for the household wish remain untested. The later calendar purchase does not resolve that separate placement warning.

What the calendar save check retained

After purchase, one controlled refresh and Continue retained the recorded wallet, stars, ordered wishes, loan state, all nine skill levels and career fields. The supplied report describes the calendar in a consistent wall position before and after. The complete furniture inventory was not compared.

Hunger changed from 77% to 76% across that save comparison while the other five needs matched. Time and refresh effects were not isolated. The earlier Ring Light preview test had no reload at all, so it supplies no new persistence result.

The calendar test also recorded a Hygiene increase before the purchase, during panel browsing without a shower action. Its cause was unknown; it is not evidence that calendars, previewing products or browsing panels restore Hygiene. Calendar interactions and need effects were not tested. Unchanged skill levels do not prove zero experience gain.

These scoped observations do not explain the earlier laptop-income rollback or establish a global save fix. No new wages, full shift or promotion were completed in either session.

Plan the next action from your current wish

The replacement TV wish was assigned but not attempted during these two household sessions. A later separate test used the existing television: one Free Evening News completed that active wish for one star with no wallet change. Charisma remained level 3; the menu label did not guarantee a level increase. The linked TV guide separates this result from the earlier Nollywood Movie observation and does not establish a repeat-reward rule. Check furniture you already have and the current menu before spending again.

Use the free checklist to remember Goals and the planner to allow for purchases alongside bills. This original guide summarizes two supplied text-report pairs. Referenced local images were not attached, and the site's illustration is decorative. Raw account records and complete wallet balances are not published.
