PLAYTEST NOTES · 7 OCTOBER 2026

Lagos Life needs: tested ways to recover.

Higher percentages mean a better current state. Hunger at 70% does not mean “70% hungry”. Check your own bars before choosing an action.

Six needs, practical starting points

These are single-session results from supplied playtest records for an existing character. Time passed and several bars hit 100%; the changes are not fixed recovery amounts or an optimal routine. Every ₦ amount is fictional game currency.

Rest and use the toilet at home

  1. Select an existing Spring Bed. Choose Take a Nap for the tested nap action, or Sleep for the separately tested full-sleep action.
  2. Wait for the action to finish, then compare Energy and your wallet. Neither tested action changed the wallet. The full Sleep observation reached 100% Energy; Bladder fell from 95% to 94% during that interval.
  3. Select an existing WC Toilet, then Use Toilet. The confirmed test reached 100% Bladder with no wallet change.

The menu labels were 15 seconds for the nap, 36 seconds for Sleep and 5 seconds for Use Toilet. Exact durations were not independently timed. Stay in Bed was only inspected. A much earlier unexplained Bladder increase is not evidence that a timed-out click worked.

Home TV: two programs now have observed results

One Free Evening News on an existing TV completed the active Watch some TV wish for one star with no wallet change. Fun moved from 73% to 86%, with the other five needs matching their adjacent readings. This is a net result in that program-and-wish window, not a fixed +13 recovery formula.

The menu said +Charisma, but Charisma remained level 3. Experience within the level was not measured. A separate earlier Nollywood Movie was also labelled Free and completed its active TV wish for one star, with Fun 98% to 100%. Different starting states prevent a reliable value ranking.

The earlier 32″ Flat TV purchase cost ₦10,800 at Place and left the TV wish active until a movie was watched. No second TV was bought for the news test. Four other programs remain menu-only observations, and Needs light has no controlled outage test. Read the program, purchase and save comparisons.

Public TV: the earlier tested route

For a character with the active Watch some TV wish, the earlier public outing cost ₦100 at the screen. That historical viewing price excludes paid transport; check current access and fares before leaving.

  1. Open Map and select Viewing Centre: Oga Sunday Viewing Centre in Surulere. Check current opening hours.
  2. Select Trek and confirm only after the final Go button shows Free. This trip showed no fare deduction; walking still coincided with lower Energy and Hygiene.
  3. Select Big screen, then Watch EPL Match. The observed price was ₦100. Check the receipt and the completed action.
  4. Check Goals. In this session, the TV wish disappeared and one star was awarded. Repeated viewing was not shown to keep awarding stars.
  5. Check the fare again for Go home. The venue's receipt does not include paid transport.

The match menu labelled the action 14 seconds; that was not independently timed. If a visible control is covered, a normally focused button may work with Enter, as it did in this record. It is not a guarantee that every control supports the same keyboard action.

This route uses the screen activity only. No betting action or public chat was needed for the tested wish.

At Amala Shitta, arrival and eating had different results

The newer restaurant visit left Eat at Amala Shitta active immediately after arrival. One ₦300 Amala & Ewedu from Buka counter then moved Hunger from 84% to 100% and completed the wish for three stars. The other five needs matched their immediate pre-meal readings.

Two ₦350 Cab journeys brought the whole trip to ₦1,000; the food receipt excluded transport. This capped Hunger result is not a fixed recovery amount, and other dishes were not compared. Read the meal and earlier Zobo observations.

The subsequent Elegushi Beach visit wish completed on arrival, before any beach activity. A later Freedom Park art wish also completed in its arrival window before any activity. Read Goals at each stage before paying for another action; these are individual results, not one rule for every wish.

Budget for the return trip

Go home opens a transport dialog; opening it or choosing Cab does not mean your character has arrived. In a separate recorded night outing, selecting Cab left the wallet unchanged. Confirming Go · ₦550 and arriving home deducted exactly ₦550. Check your own final fare: destination and time can differ.

The venue receipt did not include the return fare. The free outward walk also coincided with Energy changing from 82% to 64% and Hygiene from 57% to 43%; those are net observations, not fixed travel penalties. A higher Hygiene reading after the cab ride had no isolated cause, so a cab is not a verified cleaning method.

Music and dancing: check the Energy trade-off

On an owned Acoustic Guitar, two separate free Practice Guitar observations moved Fun from 95% to 100% and from 90% to 98%. They do not establish a fixed recovery amount. The guitar purchase was a separate ₦4,200 cost.

At Shrine, one ₦300 Dance to the Live Band action coincided with Fun 97% to 100%, Social 98% to 100%, and Energy 98% to 86%. Consider your Energy before adding an outing. Travel costs were separate; later Cab quotes rose from the earlier ₦550 to ₦850 per leg with a rush-hour notice.

A tested Cab return left Energy unchanged at 86%. Neither this nor earlier unexplained need increases establishes that taking a cab restores needs. Read the Shrine route or check the guitar and music actions.

Cooking and delivery still need a controlled check

Opening Chowdeck coincided with an unexpected Cook Jollof action and a Hunger increase in one record. The trigger was not isolated, and Order now was not used. This is not evidence of a completed delivery or a reproducible free-food method.

A later household test recorded a Hygiene increase before buying a calendar, during panel browsing without a shower action. Its cause was unknown; it does not establish a recovery method or a calendar effect. Read the separate purchase and placement observations.

The movie, news, meal, beach, Freedom Park and Wall Calendar checks retained their recorded progress fields after Continue. All six needs matched in the meal check; the other checks had a one-point change in one need while the remaining five matched. The latest news check had Bladder 97% to 96%; its later Hunger and Social readings belonged to a different window. Time and refresh effects were not separated. These observations do not resolve the earlier laptop rollback or establish a global save fix.
